We are very happy to announce the following keynote speakers for the International Conference on Nanotechnology Modeling and Simulation (ICNMS'16):

Dr. Tapio Ala-Nissilä

Aalto Univeristy, Finland

Dr. Tapio Ala-Nissilä

Tapio Ala-Nissila is a Professor of Physics at the Department of Applied Physics, Aalto University School of Science (Aalto SCI), Espoo, Finland, and Adjunct professor of Physics at the Depart-ment of Physics, Brown University, Providence, USA. He is the head of the Multiscale Statistical Physics (MSP) group of about 15 researchers, which is part of the Computational Nanoscience Center of Excellence at Aalto SCI. The MSP group focuses on multiscale theoretical and computational modeling of nanoscale phenomena in condensed and soft matter physics, including modeling of two-dimensional materials, nanoplasmonics, polymer dynamics, escape and translocation, and stochastic thermodynamics in small classical and quantum systems.

Topic of Keynote: Multiscale Modelling of Graphene from Nano to Micron Scales
